Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) on Tuesday reported 45.53 per cent jump in total sales during April at 1,98,831 units, compared to 1,36,622 units in the same month of 2011.
Motorcycle sales moved up 32.37 per cent to 81,427 units during the month, as against 61,514 units in April, 2011, HMSI said in a statement.
The company reported an increase of 56.31 per cent in scooter sales to 1,17,404 units from 75,108 units a year ago during the same month.
