Himatsingka Seide Ltd by leveraging distribution capabilities and cost optimisation has posted 59.03 per cent higher profits at Rs 16.54 crore on a consolidated basis for the first quarter of the financial year 2013-14 compared with Rs 10.40 crore in the same period last year.
Income from operations is higher 24.90 per cent to Rs 477.70 crore compared with Rs 382.45 crore in the same quarter last year.
EPS stood at Rs 1.68 against Rs 1.06 recorded last year.
Distribution revenues in North America both brands and private label in Q1 grew by 26.6 per cent to Rs 400.67 crore against Rs 316.52 crore in the corresponding three months of the previous year.
