Ion Exchange Services, a provider of water purification and water treatment service, has launched ‘Containerised Water Treatment Plant’ on a rental basis for the supply of treated water.

According to Dinesh Sadasivan, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Ion Exchange Services, the service will be offered to industries and institutions across diversified sectors such as pharmaceuticals, breweries, food and beverages, hotels, hospitals, and software technology parks.

The plant consists of a 10m3/hr Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Demineralisation (DM) plant.

Treated water from this unit can be used for drinking as well as industrial and institutional requirements such as boilers, cooling towers, certain industrial processes, and various institutional applications.

“The significant advantage for customers in utilising this service on a rental basis would be availability of treated water with no capital investments, thereby enabling them to focus on their core competency without having to worry about maintenance of this unit,” Sadasivan said.

“Also, since this unit would be operated and maintained by Ion Exchange Services engineers, onsite and through remote monitoring, they can be rest assured about the quality and quantity of water,” he added.
