JVL Oil Refinery, a unit of JVL Agro Industries Ltd, is planning to set up its fifth edible oil refinery unit at Dahej in Gujarat.
S.N. Jhunjhunwala, Managing Director of JVL Agro Industries, said the proposed unit in Gujarat would be spread over 20 acres.
Inaugurating the company’s fourth edible oil refinery plant at Haldia in East Midnapore district on Tuesday, Jhunjhunwala, , said: “We plan to build our fifth edible oil refinery facility in Gujarat with an investment of nearly Rs 150 crore.”
According to Jhunjhunwala, with a capacity of 1,200 tonnes-a-day, the Haldia unit entailed an investment of nearly Rs 165 crore. In addition, the company has sought the State Government’s permission to set up another soyabean oil refinery unit next to this facility, he added.
