The Kochi-based Jayalakshmi Silks has opened its fourth showroom in Thrissur. The five-storey new showroom has a full floor exclusively reserved for the costumes meant for both the bride and the groom.
Mar Andrews Thazhath, the Archbishop of Thrissur, and Mr P.C. Dinesan Namboodiripad, Thanthri of the Guruvayur Temple, jointly lit the traditional lamp, marking the inauguration of the new showroom.
Mr P.C. Chacko, MP, Mr Therambil Ramakrishnan, MLA, Ms Saramma Robson, Councilor, Poothole and Mr P. A. Purushothaman, Opposition Leader, Municipal Corporation, Thrissur, were present on the occasion.
