Jindal Retail India Pvt Ltd has introduced the imported Farrell brand of olive oil in the Kerala market.
Amit Kapoor, General Manager, said in a press release the product has been imported from Spain, the leading producers of olive oil. The company has launched the product in one litre and 500 ml pet bottles to enable consumers to buy smaller, economy packs.
Today health conscious consumers prefer olive oil for its low fat content. This has resulted in a rise in its consumption, he said.
The company has appointed 20 distributors in Kerala to market the product. There are also plans to showcase it in all leading malls and supermarkets. The brand is priced at ₹450 for 500 ml.
