Kalyan Jewellers, part of the Rs 3,500-crore business house from Kerala, today announced the opening of its 15,000 square foot store on M.G. Road, Vijayawada, its second in Andhra Pradesh after the one it added earlier this year at Hyderabad. With this store launch, it now has 26 stores spread across the country and plans to add 12 more Kalyan Brand stores in India during 2011.
Mr T.S. Kalyanaraman, Chairman of Kalyan Jewellers, in a statement said, “Our brand loyalty has been increasing. As our customer base grows, our confidence to invest in new stores is gaining strength. Today, we are 26 and are gearing up to add another 12 in 2011. Kalyan Jewellers store in Hyderabad averages Rs. 26 crore sales per month and touched sales of Rs 150 crore already in the past few months since its inauguration.”
