Kaveri Seed Company Ltd (KSCL), the Secunderabad-based seed firm with a focus on hybrids in cotton, corn, paddy, bajra and sunflower, has posted a revenue of Rs 241.24 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2011, showing a growth of 63 per cent over the comparable revenue of Rs 148 crore last financial year.
The net profit stood at Rs 52.55 crore (Rs 31.17 crore), registering a growth of 68.56 per cent. It saw a 52-week high of Rs 494 on July 29, 2011.
