Mahindra Lifespaces has posted a seven per cent rise in net profit at Rs 32 crore for the quarter ended March 31. Operating income for the quarter was down 14 per cent at Rs 140 crore (Rs 164 crore). The board of directors has recommended a dividend of Rs 6 a share. For FY12, net profit was up 17 per cent at Rs 120 crore (Rs 103 crore) and operating income marginally down at Rs 469 crore (Rs 477 crore). On a consolidated basis, net profit was 10 per cent up at Rs 119 crore (Rs 108 crore), while operating income rose 15 per cent to Rs 701 crore (Rs 612 crore). On Friday, the company scrip closed near flat at Rs 325.55 on the BSE.
