Nissan Motor India today said it will increase the prices of its hatchback Micra and midsize sedan Sunny with effect from November 1 to offset rising input and transportation costs.
The recently launched multi-utility vehicle Nissan Evalia will not be affected, the company said in a statement without disclosing the quantum of hike.
Commenting on the proposed price increase, Hover Automotive India Director (Sales & Marketing) Nitish Tipnis, said: “The prices are being revised to partially offset appreciation in input and transportation costs.” Hover is the marketing partner for Nissan.
