Numeric Power Systems has been renamed Swelect Energy Systems Ltd following the sale of its Uninterruptible Power Supply business.
According to information provided by the company to the stock exchange, Numeric Power obtained fresh certification of incorporation on May 30 providing for the change in name. A company official said the formalities relating to the transfer of the UPS business to Novateur Electrical and Digital Systems Pvt Ltd were completed on May 29. Swelect Energy will now focus on solar energy related products including power generation and domestic application.
