Mr A. A. Khan, Executive Director-Asset Manager of ONGC Rajahmundry Asset, has been awarded the ‘Subir Raha Award for Business Excellence' for 2010. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 2 lakh and is the highest award in the company for the key executives.
According to a press release, Mr Khan is credited with arresting the declining trend of production of oil and gas in the Rajahmundry Asset. The Asset is now producing 850 tonnes a day, (oil) compared with 585 tonnes a day in 2005. ONGC instituted the award in memory of Subir Raha, former CMD of ONGC, this year.
