Chennai-based pharma company Orchid Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals' Cephalosporin API manufacturing facility at Alathur (near Chennai) has been re-opened, after clearance by the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control board.
Production will start immediately, said the company in a notice to the stock exchange. The Alathur facility was issued closure notice by the State pollution control board last month over issue of non-compliance of sludge disposal norms.
