UK-based hotel chain Premier Inn, which has touched the 50,000 rooms mark globally, plans to open four hotels in the country by 2014.

The economy hotel chain has two operational hotels in New Delhi and Bangalore. The company plans to open additional hotels in Pune, Chennai and Goa by next year, while its sixth property is expected to open at Chennai by 2014.
