Anil Ambani group company Reliance Capital has reported a 68.28 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 106.32 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2010.
The company posted a net profit of Rs 63.18 crore during the October-December quarter a year ago, Reliance Capital said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Total income of the financial services provider, however, declined to Rs 1,352.30 crore during the third quarter ended December 2010 from Rs 1,484.81 crore in the same year-ago period, it added.
The company shares ended 2.18 per cent higher from the previous close on the BSE at Rs 428.35 apiece in the last trading session.
