Sadbhav Engineering Ltd, leading player in infrastructure development business, has been chosen for the “Most Admired Developer--Transport Sector Award” at the Fourth Infrastructure Today Awards 2011, organised in association with KPMG in India.
Mr. Vishnubhai Patel, Chairman and Managing Director of the Rs 2,200-crore Sadbhav Engineering, received the award from Mr Montek Singh Aluwhalia, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission of India, in New Delhi, the company said in a release here.
The previous winners in this category were GMR Infrastructure, IRB Infrastructure and Mundra Port and SEZ Ltd. Sadbhav has emerged as India's fifth largest road developer in just 7 years with total asset size of over Rs 7,900 crore.
The company has focused on construction of roads, irrigation facilities and in the development of mining across India. Many of the projects have been breakthrough infrastructural creations. — Our Bureau
