Tamil Nadu-based Seshasayee Papers reported 19.75 per cent growth in its net profit at Rs 10.67 crore for the quarter ending December 31, 2010. The company reported net profit of Rs 8.91 crore during the corresponding period of previous year.
For the nine month period ending December 31,2010, the company recorded Rs 50.51 crore in net profit against Rs 30.13 crore during the same period a year ago.
The total income for the quarter ending December 31, 2010 grew to Rs 145.70 crore from Rs 126.79 crore registered during the same period of previous year.
Besides, for the nine-month period ending December 31, 2010 the total income of the company was at Rs 411.80 crore as against Rs 379.80 crore during the corresponding period last year.
