Sundaram Brake Linings, a TVS Group company, has reported a net profit of Rs 1.41 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2013.
The Chennai-based company reported a net loss at Rs 1.72 crore during the corresponding period of previous fiscal, Sundaram Brake Linings Ltd said in a BSE filing.
For the financial year ended March 31, 2013, the net loss of the company stood at Rs 4.40 crore against net profit of Rs 56.46 lakh during the previous fiscal.
The total income from operations for the fourth quarter declined to Rs 61.69 crore from Rs 63.51 crore registered during the same period of previous year.
For the 2012-13 financial year, the total income from operations slipped to Rs 232.18 crore from Rs 255.70 crore registered during the same period of previous year.
Shares of the company were trading at Rs 145 apiece in afternoon, down by 0.58 per cent over its previous close on the BSE.
