Suven Life Sciences, a Hyderabad-based bio-pharmaceutical company, has announced it is taking part in the JP Morgan Healthcare Conference 2011 being hosted at San Francisco, US, during January 10-13 and explore option to raise fund and partner with other companies. Mr Venkat Jasti, Chief Executive Officer of Suven, in a statement said that the company will discuss plans for fund raising and potential tie-ups for its phase-2 ready clinical candidate for cognition in Alzheimer's and Schizophrenia. The company has 12 internally discovered therapeutic drug candidates currently in pre-clinical stage of development targeting conditions such as dementia, depression and obesity among others, according to a company statement.
