TajSATS, an airline catering company, has teamed up with Air India for the launch of its new in-flight dining concept called 'Table set-up'.
The launch, scheduled for July 11, is in line with improved offering from Air India on joining the Star Alliance.
First and business class guests flying Air India on select domestic and international routes would be able to enjoy a special meal experience on-board. The concept was developed by Chef Satish Arora, Director, Food Production at TajSATS and provides more options to the passengers to visually examine and taste a variety of dishes and then pick and choose from the array of food options available, the company said in a statement.
Commenting on the tie up, Ranjiv Ramanathan, Chief Operating Officer, TajSATS said the company was joining hands with "India’s oldest airline to design and deliver a fresh and innovative on-board meal experience for guests".
This concept will help both Air India and TajSATS go the extra mile in presentation and service, the company added.
TajSATS Air Catering is a joint venture between The Indian Hotels Company, also known as the Taj Group and SATS Ltd, headquartered in Singapore.
