Mumbai, Apr 4 Material handling company Tecpro Systems on Monday said it has bagged an order worth Rs 256 crore from NTPC for the supply and installation of coal handling plant in Jharkhand.
The scope of work includes engineering, manufacturing, transportation and commissioning of coal handling plant package for Pakri Barwadih Coal Mining Block situated in Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand, Tecpro Sytems said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
“We are happy to announce this coal handling order from NTPC,” Tecpro Sytems Vice Chairman and Managing Director Mr Amul Gabrani said.
He further said: “We continue to occupy the leadership position in the coal and ash handling space and we are confident of leveraging our core expertise to take advantage of the tremendous opportunities available in the sector.”
Shares of the company closed at Rs 287.80, up 1.07 per cent from the previous close.
