Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced that it is taking steps to bring down the waiting period for the ‘Etios' model.
This will be realised through various steps, including starting of second shift production, changes in the production time per vehicle, production enhancement and postponement of the launch of Hatchback - Etios Liva from April to June.
According to Mr Hiroshi Nakagawa, Managing Director, TKM, this is being done due to the positive consumer response to the Etios and the resulting demand, and also in line with the company's customer-first philosophy.
Mr Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director (Marketing), TKM, while apologising for the postponement of the launch of Hatchback - Etios Liva, said in a release that everything would be done to limit inconvenience caused to the customers.
