Electrical equipments major V-Guard Industries on Tuesday said it is looking at Rs 2,000 crore turnover in the current fiscal.

“We have set a target of achieving Rs 2,000 crore turnover in the current financial year against Rs 1,500 crore in last fiscal,” V-Guard Industries Vice President (Marketing) Deepak Augustine told PTI here. Augustine launched the company’s new range of water heaters ‘Pebble’

The water heater’s organised market size is of Rs 800 crore and it is targeting at capturing 25 per cent market share with Rs 200 crore turnover, he said.

The company is also working on a plan to introduce new series of room heater and gas geysers before the winter.

Terming Madhya Pradesh as a “major market”, he said it will do a business of Rs 50 crore this year in the region against Rs 32 crore in 2013-14.

He hoped that within next two years the company’s annual turnover in Madhya Pradesh would reach Rs 100 crore mark.
