William Penn, a multi-brand retailer of writing instruments, plans to add two more stores in the next three months. The retailer sells premium pens of 15 international brands and men’s accessories. These stores will come up in Thane and Noida.

According to Nikhil Ranjan, Chief Executive Officer, William Penn, currently there are 21 William Penn stores and five shop-in-shops across the country. “We will be opening two more stores in the next three months – one each in Thane and Noida,” he told reporters ahead of launching the company’s 21st store in Kolkata.

Ranjan added that roughly one store with nearly 500 sq ft space entails an estimated investment of Rs 75 lakh. While 80 per cent of William Penn’s business comes from pens, accessories account for 20 per cent sales.
