Hyderabad based Zenotech Labs has appointed Dr Sudershan Arora as the Chairman of the Board and Mr B.K. Raizada as the Managing Director.
The Board of Directors of Zenotech Labs Ltd, at a meeting held on Saturday, has approved the appointments. While Dr Arora is currently also the President of R&D at Ranbaxy, Mr Raizada has around 40 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in India and overseas. Both have been appointed for a period of two years effective March 19.
Ranbaxy and Daiichi Sankyo together hold 66.84 per cent stake in Zenotech. Ranbaxy holds 46.84 per cent and Daiichi Sankyo holds 20 per cent. Zenotech Laboratories is a specialty generic injectables company with strong expertise in the area of bio-technology. Its predominantly high value injectables product portfolios serve niche therapy areas such as Oncology and Anaesthesiology.
