Amara Raja Batteries Ltd has announced that the four-wheeler automotive battery plant at Nunegundlapalle village of Bangarupalyam Mandal in Chittoor District (Unit II) was commissioned on March 26.
In a regulatory filing made with the BSE on Friday, the batteries major said that the plant, set up with an installed capacity of 2.25 million units per annum, will take the total capacity of the four-wheeler automotive battery plant to 8.25 million units per annum.
