Technology solutions provider Amnex Infotechnologies Pvt Ltd, earlier known as Infinium Solutionz Ltd, has entered into an agreement with Hitachi India Pvt Ltd and Tokyo-based Hitachi Solutions Ltd for product development and jointly penetrate the Indian market for Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and other IT-based solutions.
Headquartered in Ahmedabad, Amnex currently provides technology solutions with data science using IOT, AI, ML, and Robotics for customer requirements in the areas of urban, rural, agriculture, mining, marine, defence, among others.
As per the partnership, the two companies aim to localise Hitachi Solutions’ GIS as a product to address the specific needs and requirements of the Indian market. The collaboration will be showcased as a joint IP development to strengthen the partnership between the two companies. The development had begun from April 2018, said the company's founder and Managing Director, Aditya Shah.
"We have some reputed clients who take our technology solutions and innovations to bring efficiencies in operations. We are a profit-making organisation with over 300 employees. And we plan to take our turnover from Rs 80 crore in fiscal 2017-18 to Rs 150-200 crore this fiscal," said Shah.
Set up in 2008, Amnex Infotechnologies becomes the first official technology partner for Hitachi Solutions GIS in India.
Drivers for the growth will be urban, agriculture and mining areas, where the company already has a remarkable presence. "We are eager to see how these technologies ameliorate grassroots functions in the fields of agriculture, water management and public utilities,” said Tapan Gosaliya, Director, Amnex.
Besides the Indian market, both companies will target West Asian and South East Asian markets for further expansion of Hitachi Solutions GIS business.
Gosaliya further stated that Amnex will take its solutions to global markets in near future by forging strategic partnerships with Global Systems Integrators and Telecom Service Providers.
