Air Products today announced the appointment of Anand Chordia as managing director, Prodair Air Products India Pvt Ltd and the head of Air Products’ Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) centre in Pune.
Air Products is a industrial gases company in operation for over 75 years.
Air Products’ Joerg Linsenmaier, Vice President, Global Project Execution, Manufacturing, Construction and Start-Up, said in a press statement, “Anand brings extensive experience in the EPC industry, both domestically and globally. He has an exceptional business, technical and functional skill-set gained during a career spanning over 26 years within engineering and project-related disciplines. We look forward to the strength his leadership will bring to our India-based EPC centre.”
“Air Products’ commitment to India is stronger than ever and there are many opportunities for growth that we are actively exploring,” added Richard Boocock, Air Products’ senior Vice-President, chief information officer, and President, Air Products India in a press statement.
Anand Chordia joins Air Products from Larsen & Toubro, where since 2017 he was Global Delivery head – Plant Engineering Business Unit and was responsible for leading a business unit with over 1,000 staff based across Vadodara, Mumbai and Chennai.
