Building material solutions provider Lafarge India Private Limited (Lafarge India), has appointed Jean-Carlos Angulo as Non-Executive Chairman of Lafarge India. 

He replaces Uday Khanna who held the post since July 11 and will continue to stay on with the company in an advisory role, Lafarge said in a statement. 

Angulo has spent most of his career in Lafarge; a company he joined in 1975 and in which he held various regional and international positions. He is presently Executive Vice President Lafarge Group with a role as Advisor to the Chairman and CEO of Lafarge Group. 

Prior to his appointment as Lafarge India’s Non-Executive Chairman, Khanna led the company as MD and CEO from July 2005. He joined the Lafarge Group in Paris in 2003 as Senior Vice President of Group Strategy following a 30-year international career with Hindustan Lever/Unilever.
