With reference to the earlier announcement dated May 10, 2012 regarding announces Q4 & FY12 results, National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd has now informed BSE that, in the said announcement, a typographical error has been noticed in the “NOTES” to the financial results filed under Clause 41 of the listing agreement. The correction is as follows: “Note 3 to be read as: Provision for current tax for the year includes tax related to earlier years amounting to Rs. 15,484 lakh (previous year Rs. 5,602 lakh).” instead of “Provision for current tax for the year includes tax related to earlier years amounting to (-) Rs. 15,484 lakh (previous year Rs. 5,602 lakh).”
