TV18 Broadcast Ltd has announced the following results for the quarter ended September 30, 2014: The Unaudited results for the Quarter ended September 30, 2014 The Company has posted a net profit of Rs. 292.756 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 as compared to (Net Loss) of Rs. (71.483) million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013. Total Income has increased from Rs. 1149.095 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013 to Rs. 1444.999 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2014. The Consolidated Results are as follows : The Unaudited results for the Quarter ended September 30, 2014 The Group has posted a net profit/(loss) after taxes, share in profit of associates and minority interest of Rs. 432.253 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 where as the same was at Rs. 101.160 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013. Total Income is Rs. 5664.532 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 where as the same was at Rs. 4935.802 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013. "Equator Trading Enterprises Private Limited ("Equator") (including its subsidiaries Panorama Television Private Limited and Prism TV Private Limited) had become wholly owned subsidiary of the Company with effect from 22nd January, 2014. Hence, the consolidated results of the current period include the results of these subsidiary companies. Eenadu Television Private Limited had also become an associate with effect from 22nd January, 2014 and its results have been accounted as “Associate” under Accounting Standard 23 on Accounting for Investments in Associates in Consolidated Financial Statements. To this extent, the results of this period are not comparable with the corresponding previous period."
