Healthcare major Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd has launched its first standalone fertility centre in Chennai with a promise to offer quality infertility treatment backed by world class infrastructure and a team of experienced clinicians.

The new facility has come up at Anna Nagar and comprises advanced medical infrastructure, personalised patient care and other labs. The team of specialists include experienced doctors in fertility, reproductive medicine, reproductive endocrinology, embryology, andrology and urology among others.

While the hospital group has been offering infertility treatments under its Apollo Cradle multi-speciality concept, this is its first dedicated centre for treating infertility related issues.

With increasing number of people facing infertility related problems, Apollo has felt the need to set up a standalone centre to offer standardised services.

“With this launch, we shall extend our expertise in assisting people experiencing problems in conceiving. This centre will ensure that couples of Chennai, and even the rest of Tamil Nadu now have increased access to superior medical technology coupled with the joint experience of the best in class doctors from both the brands...which will enable more miracles! ” said Dr Preetha Reddy, Executive Vice Chairperson, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.

Apollo plans to become a leading chain of IVF centres across India, with many of them planned within the Apollo Cradle Hospitals. It already has one operational centre in Brookefield, Bangalore and will be opening centres in Delhi and Hyderabad in the coming months.

“We recognise that infertility could have multiple causes, our step towards launching a new segment aims at offering the best of treatment options at affordable prices. Our protocols are designed to address both female and male issues, combined with clinical, surgical, and most importantly, psychological interventions,” said Neeraj Garg, CEO, Apollo Health and Lifestyle.
