Ashok Leyland, a part of the Hinduja Group flagship, has deployed an integrated SAP-based IT solution across core functions.
The company said in a release that the SAP deployment covered all seven manufacturing plants and dealership locations in India. It said that the implementation will improve forecasting capabilities and enable analytics.
Mr Vinod K. Dasari, Managing Director, Ashok Leyland, said: “Our decision to migrate to SAP was dictated by the need to accommodate our global complexity. This is an important step towards achieving our vision to be globally among the top ten truck and top five bus manufacturers.’’
