Ashok Leyland expands network in Punjab, HP

Hinduja Group flagship company Ashok Leyland has expanded its operations in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh with the inauguration of four dealership network, including its 350th unit.

The company has inaugurated CM Automobiles in Mohali, T R Enterprises in Hoshiarpur, Grover Motors, Moga, and CM Associates in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, respectively, a company statement issued here today said.

With the inauguration of new outlets, the company has eight networks in Punjab along with 126 service bays and six dealership outlets in Himachal Pradesh, it said.

“Punjab and Himachal Pradesh have been focus markets for us, which must be evident in this marked expansion of our network in these markets.

Over the years, we have striven to understand the specific requirements of customers in this region...,” the Ashok Leyland Special Director, Mr R.N. Rao, said.

Besides, the company also announced the TatkaAL scheme to reach customers within four hours anywhere on the Golden Quadrilateral.

“Another measure of our service levels is the TatkaAL promise of reaching a customer within four hours anywhere on the Golden Quadrilateral or on the North-South, East-West corridors with restoration in 48 hours,” he said.

The company has trained over 16,000 mechanics and nearly 5,400 retailers across the country, he added.

He said with the ramping up of the company’s manufacturing facility at Pantnagar in Uttarkhand, Ashok Leyland is better placed to meet the demands from these markets.
