Commercial vehicle major Ashok Leyland on Friday announced organisational changes to provide growth opportunities for talent from within the company.
Gopal Mahadevan, who was recently appointed as a whole time director in addition to his current role as CFO and President, Customer Solutions Business, will also be responsible for IT, corporate strategy and business analytics. Anuj Kathuria was appointed as Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for medium and heavy commercial vehicle business, while Nitin Seth will become Chief Operating Officer responsible for light commercial vehicles, Defence, international operations and power solutions business.
N Saravanan, who was recently appointed as Chief Technology Officer in addition to his current role, will also be responsible for electric vehicles business, said a company press release.
