Hinduja Group flagship company Ashok Leyland today reported 60.81 per cent increase in total sales at 14,771 units in September as against 9,185 units for the same month last year.
The sales of heavy and medium commercial vehicles jumped 83.15 per cent to 12,134 units in September this year as against 6,625 units in the year-ago period, the company said in a BSE filing.
Light commercial vehicles sales rose by 3 per cent to 2,637 units this year as compared to 2,560 units in September 2014.
