Kochi-based Asset Homes has bagged CNBC Awaaz-CRISIL-CREDAI Award 2010 for the most innovative project.

Asset Silicon and Cyber Heights in Kakkanad is the project that was identified as India's Most Innovative Project.

Asset Homes is India's first builder to be honoured with this much coveted award.

The award was handed over by the Minister for Urban Development, Mr Kamal Nath, to the Managing Director, Mr K. A. Mohamed Saleem, and the directors, Mr Sunil Kumar and Mr K.Anil Varma, in Singapore at the CREDAI NATCON 2011 National Convention of Confederation of Real Estate Developer's Associations of India in Singapore.

Asset Silicon and Cyber Heights was given the award for the innovative use of digital technology, construction technology and funding mechanisms. Located near the Collectorate in Kakkanad, it is a 15-storey twin tower structure that can house 90 apartments.

The property is also Kerala's first digital home that combines the most innovative and contemporary trends in digital technology and architectural design to provide a new perspective to living.

Digital surveillance system with IP camera control, video door phones, biometric entry locks, Wi-Fi-enabled environment, digital lockers, IP phones, automated gate opening and boom barriers are some of the many digital features of the l project.

Besides, there are features such as swimming pool, health club, club house, squash court, badminton court, toddlers' park and herbal garden.

The award is one of the six major national awards of CRISIL CREDAI for excellent performers in the building industry.
