Barbeque Nation, the casual dining restaurant chains in India, has chalked out an ambitious expansion plan this year including that in overseas markets.

The company, in the current fiscal, will add up 19 outlets in the domestic market including three in Colombo, Dubai and Dhaka with an investment outlay of around ₹50 crore, P.O. Joju, Chief Operating Officer, Barbeque Nation Hospitality Ltd said.

He was here in Kochi to open the first outlet in Kerala and the 68{+t}{+h} in the country. There are also plans to open outlets in Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram and to launch more Keralite dishes to serve in the state outlets, he said.

Barbeque Nation is one of the most successful casual dining restaurant chains in the country. It pioneered in India ‘DIY’ (do-it-yourself) cuisine with the concept of live on-the-table grill. With 68 outlets across the nation, the outlets offers a blend of American, Mediterranean, Oriental and Indian cuisines in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices.
