Public sector equipment maker Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) on Thursday reported a 12.9 per cent growth in net profit during April-June 2012 at Rs 920.9 crore. It posted a net profit of Rs 815.5 crore in the previous corresponding quarter.
Income from operations was up 17.62 per cent at Rs 8,740.90 crore (Rs 7,430.9 crore) during the period under review.
BEHL had an order book of Rs 1,33,000 crore at the end of the first quarter of the current fiscal, it said in a statement.
