Paying electricity bills has just become easier in the capital with Delhi's major power distribution company BSES allowing customers in south and west Delhi to make the payment through credit or debit card.
Earlier, one could pay their bill only through cash, cheque or a demand draft.
Customers can make credit or debit card payment of their electricity bills at the bill payment kiosks at the 19 division offices, a company statement said Tuesday.
The kiosks are open from 8 am to 8 pm on all days. Mr Gopal Saxena, chief executive officer of BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd, said: “Customers can pay their bills at over 5,000 locations.”
