Kolkata-based BTL EPC, part of the Shrachi Group, has bagged a ₹228-crore turnkey order from Bangladesh India Friendship Power Company (BIFPCL).
The project comprises design, engineering, manufacturing supply, erection and commissioning, handing over and O&M (operations and maintenance) of a 14-km long CHP conveyor package for 2x660 MW power plant for BIFPCL in Bangladesh, said a press statement issued by the company.
Maitree Super Thermal Power Project is a 2 X 660MW coal-fired power station at Rampal Upazila of Bagerhat District in Khulna, Bangladesh. It is a 50:50 joint venture between India’s NTPC and the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB).
BTL EPC is a multidisciplinary group with verticals as diverse as EPC (including manufacturing of highly engineered products and process equipments) contracting across process industries, farm equipments, bio-toilets and others.
