CESC Ltd has posted a standalone net profit of Rs 707 crore for the year ended March 31, 2016 compared with Rs 698 crore for the year ended March 31, 2015.
For 2015-16, the total income increased to Rs 6,616 crore (Rs 6,274 crore).
Net profit for the fourth quarter was placed at Rs 248 crore (Rs 244 crore). Q4 total income was Rs 1,509 crore (Rs 1,448 crore).
Consolidated net profit (after tax and minority interest) was at Rs 366 crore (Rs 199 crore).
The CESC stock was ruling at Rs 552 on the BSE, up one per cent.
