The Regulating Authority of Germany (Regierung von Oberbayern) has withdrawn the current EU-GMP non-compliance status on Dr Reddy’s manufacturing unit 2 at Bachupally here. According to an update from the company issued on Wednesday, the German regulator had conducted a re-inspection of the plant last week. Subsequently, its German arm, betapharm, has received a communication informing the withdrawal of non-compliance status. The unit was under non-compliance status from August 8, 2017, from the Government of Upper Bavaria. “The plant can now restart despatch of approved products to the EU,’’ the company said.
