Dabur India said it is acquiring two South African companies in the personal care and hair care segment. In a BSE filing, the company said its, “step down wholly-owned subsidiary Dabur South Africa has entered into a share purchase agreement to acquire D&A Cosmetics Proprietary Ltd and Atlanta Body & Health Products Proprietary Ltd.” The deal size is estimated at ₹25 crore. D&A Cosmetics has a presence in the personal care, hair care and creams segment. In November last, Dabur had announced the acquisition of the personal care, hair care and creams businesses of CTL Group, which marked its foray in the South African personal care market.
