Deshwal Waste Management, a one-stop waste management solutions provider, including e-waste, is on an expansion drive to offer solutions in South and plans to set up more facilities.

It is in the process of commissioning a second plant in addition to the existing one at Manesar, which has the capacity to process 3,300 tonnes of waste.

Tie-ups with smart cities

Raj Kumar, CEO, said, “The company has teamed up with more than 250 corporate clients offering them solutions. We are now looking at partnering with various smart city projects to offer integrated solutions.”

He told BusinessLine: “As a single-point recycler, we offer services for e-waste, battery waste, oil waste and plastic. These are processed and handled in an efficient and environment-friendly manner.”

“The company was set up in 2011 as a recycler to facilitate a professional approach to managing waste, particularly electronic waste. This is a major concern for most of the large corporate entities. They prefer to get this handled by expert service providers. And we have pitched in with ours.”

The company’s dedicated R&D centre works on innovation within the recycling business and all its solutions are tailored to work and coordinate with municipal administrations and corporate entities.

“We closed 2017-18 with revenues of ₹12 crore and thereafter almost doubled it to ₹23 crore in 2018-19. And we expect to again double the turnover as we are expanding to new cities, including Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad in South,” he said.
