Dhunseri Petrochem & Tea Ltd has reported a net profit of Rs 6.72 crore in Q3 of 2012-13 against Rs 20.27 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
Production of PET resin at its first plant at Haldia during the quarter to December 31, 2012, was 54,760 tonnes (54,088 tonnes). The new second plant, also at Haldia, produced 11,097 tonnes in the trial phase during the quarter. The company produced 26.78 lakh kg (34.34 lakh kg).
