Leading Direct-to-Home (DTH) player Dish TV posted a consolidated net profit ₹40.8 crore for the quarter ended June 30, down 24.7 per cent from ₹54.21 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year.
The consolidated total income grew to ₹790.4 crore for the quarter up 3.6 per cent, it said in a BSE filing. Dish TV Chairman and MD Jawahar Goel, said, “Buoyed by digitisation, notwithstanding the relative seasonal weakness in the first quarter, the industry collectively added around 15 per cent higher subscribers compared to the same quarter last fiscal.”
