VE Commercial Vehicles has reported a 20.21 per cent increase in total sales in August at 3,711 units as against 3,087 units in the same month last year.
Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded total sales of 3,611 units in August compared with 3,027 units in the same month last year, up 19.29 per cent, the company said in a statement today.
In the domestic market, Eicher trucks and buses recorded sales of 3,009 units as against 2,571 units in the year-ago period, an increase of 17.03 per cent.
Exports of Eicher trucks and buses stood at 602 units in August as against 456 units last year, up 32.01 per cent.
Volvo trucks have recorded sales of 100 units in the month compared with 60 units in the same month last year, up 66.66 per cent.
