Express distribution and supply chain company Gati Ltd has posted a net profit of ₹11.34 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2015, against a profit of ₹12.14 crore for the corresponding quarter previous financial year on a consolidated basis.
Total income for the fourth quarter was up at ₹415.93 crore (₹383.49 crore).
For the financial year ended March 31, 2015, the company registered a net profit of ₹41.21 crore and income of ₹1648.11 crore against a net profit of ₹23.42 crore and an income of ₹1114.89 crore for the previous financial year.
During the year, Gati e-Connect, the e-commerce logistics services for e-tailing companies, registered a total income of ₹127.4 crore, an increase of 164 per cent over previous year’s revenue of ₹48.3 crore.
The board has recommended a final dividend at the rate of 40 per cent for the year ended March 31, 2015, of 80 paise per equity shares of ₹2 each to the shareholders.
