Godrej Consumer Products Ltd today reported 16.46 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 107.08 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2013.
The company had reported net profit of Rs 91.94 crore in the same quarter last year.
Godrej Consumer’s net sales in the quarter under review was at Rs 923.12 crore, an increase of 18.70 per cent as against Rs 777.66 crore in the corresponding period last year, the company said in a BSE filing.
Overall expenses of the company in the quarter were at Rs 798.05 crore, up 19.05 per cent as against Rs 670.31 crore in the same quarter last year.
